Secrets to Asking Great Questions

Presented by: Joe Goss

theme_wt

A business analyst asking a great question is often the start of a valuable conversation, an innovative idea, or a transformative project. Indeed, it could be argued that no great answers can come from anything but a great question. There is no doubt about the importance of such questions, but how do we create these foundations to success? This session will help you model great questions - humble, wicked, and mindful, to name a few. The presentation covers the conditions that must exist for great questions, many examples of great questions in context, and guidance for development of great questions. Attendees will also work in small groups to develop great questions in response to a challenging scenario.

What Attendees Will Learn:

  • Understand the environmental, contextual, and personal prerequisites for great question
  • Discover practical and insightful examples of questions to “unstick” teams
  • Learn questions to ask yourself to advance team member capabilities and project outcomes
