Integrated Strategy-to-Delivery: Connecting the Business Model Canvas, Business Architecture & Agile/SAFe
Presented by: Michael Callahan
The session will include a detailed review of an Integrated Planning and Requirements Life-cycle Method for connecting the Business Model Canvas, Business Architecture, and Agile/SAFe approaches. Artifacts / Deliverables Alignment and Integrated Value Assurance Methods will also be discussed. The session will include a review of a number of AgileLayer facilitated workshop exercises that were held at various 2016 IIBA® Chapter meetings - where the Chapter itself was the subject of a Business Model Canvas exercise which included the mapping of the documented Canvas to the target-state set of Capabilities required to support/implement what was captured in the Chapter's Canvas. The session will also include a brief introduction to Business Architecture and Capabilities-based Planning concepts and the impacts on, and touch points with, the Business Analysis discipline.
What Attendees Will Learn:
- Understanding of specific methods and practices to map a Business Model Canvas to a Business Architecture/Capabilities Model and in turn to project-level Agile-based requirements
- Understand the life-cycle management, artifacts and hand-offs associated with a method that integrates the Business Model Canvas, Business Architecture, and Agile/SAFe.
- Review the outputs from a number of 2016 IIBA® Chapter meetings where the Chapter itself was the subject of a Business Model Canvas exercise which included mapping of the documented Canvas to the target-state set of Capabilities required to support/implement what was captured in the Canvas.
