Emerging Trends in Technology and Critical Skills

There are several significant technology trends that are emerging as being transformational to business. Some of these will enable new business to emerge from traditional industries, and other technologies will create whole new industries. The presentation will discuss about 10 significant technologies, and then focus on 7 key critical skills necessary to leverage these technologies that will enable your own personal better business capability.

Ken Fulmer
President & CEO
IIBA®
Ken Fulmer is currently the President and CEO of the IIBA®. Ken has been a long time senior IT executive with several major (Fortune 50) corporations holding roles as CTO and CIO. His primary skill is the ability to blend technology with business (people, process, technology and data) and create strategic business outcomes. Ken has managed very large scale enterprise programs and as Chief Technology Officer has been involved in technology in both information applications, architecture, and in more digital technology in manufacturing and retail.
Ken has also served as an executive advisor for several energy companies, in strategic initiatives and acquisitions. Ken is active in SIM and the Senior Executive Group organization, giving him the opportunity to interact with other senior executives at major corporations.
Ken has a BA degree from LaSalle University, an MBA degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, and post grad programs at MIT. He is on the board of several non-profits and past chairman of the board of IIBA®.
