3 Graces of Extraordinary Business Analysis
Presented by: Stewart Mednick
I advocate that the process or end result of any analysis should aspire to possess The 3 Graces: be a Compelling Force, have created a Meaningful Design, and is born from a Transcendent Idea. Compelling Force is to differentiate from the norm and stand out. Meaningful Design should meet requirements and function to fulfill business needs in a sustainable manor. Transcendent Idea is a creative and innovative concept that benefits productivity or efficiency. Capability assessment, Gap analysis, and maturity modelling can be typical tools used to map out the process to achieve the 3 Graces.
Learning Objectives:
- To consider the 3 Graces as benchmarks for a successful project.
- Definition of each of the 3 Graces.
- Suggested process to assess the "as-is" state and how to map to the desired result.
- Using Business Analysis "rigor" as the methodology to achieve the 3 Graces.
