Value Networks and the API Economy

The presentation will review the role and purpose of Value Networks and how they can leverage the assets and opportunities afforded by the burgeoning API Economy. Learn how to effectively design, manage and evolve Value Networks, including the application of Business Architecture and Analysis methods and techniques. The session will include a review of sample Value Networks and related artifacts.

Mike is a recognized subject matter expert and speaker in the fields of Capabilities-based Planning and Business Architecture. He is a co-founder of AgileLayer, a provider of methodologies, software, training and consulting services for Capabilities-based Planning. Mike has worked with dozens of US corporations to evolve their strategy-to-execution processes to incorporate Capabilities-based planning and business architecture approaches. He has authored and co-authored a number of industry-first methods and tools over the past 12 years — including project and software life-cycle governance models, value network frameworks, digital capability reference models, and capabilities-based design, assessment and planning methods. Mike is based in Boston MA, and holds a BS Computer Science degree from the Boston College School of Management.
