Melissa Petak is the Director of Business Excellence and oversees the offices of Compliance/Quality, Business Culture and Project Management at Onlife Health. As a cultural pioneer, Melissa is responsible for developing the organizational framework that supports innovation and engagement, aligning to the strategic vision and goals set out by the Senior Leadership Team. Under Melissa’s leadership, OnLife Health has been recognized as a Top Workplace in Middle Tennessee by The Tennessean and nationally as one of the top 100 healthiest companies by H100, two years running.

Melissa started her career as a Hospital Administrator in U.S. Air Force performing many different functions including budget oversight, compliance/regulatory audits, medical management, and business analytics. She most recently served as a Medicaid Project Manager with Hewlett and Packard where he was responsible for the management and growth of the Arkansas state healthcare exchange and Medicaid expansion efforts under the Affordable Care Act. During her time with HP, Melissa also managed the Medicaid Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) program as well as, Episodes of Care.

Melissa continues to serve in the rank of Major with the U.S. Air Force Reserve Little Rock Air Force Base Clinic. She holds a master’s degree in Healthcare from the University of West Florida, Bachelors in English/Military Science from the University of Texas at Arlington and black belt in six sigma from Villanova. She is also a first year doctoral student at the Medical University of South Carolina.
