Business Cases with Blockchain

Blockchain applications are currently in early design stages and the idea behind the technology is gaining popularity. This workshop will assist participants to form an objective evaluation of the technology and bypass the hype.
The workshop will be structured as follows:
- Introduction to Blockchain Technology.
- Discussion of possible Blockchain Business Cases
- Mapping out the pros and cons of using Blockchain Technology.
This is a fully interactive workshop and questions are welcome all through the workshop to help all participants gain an understanding of the new paradigm that Blockchain technology presents.

Andrew Rose has been interested in the Blockchain space since 2010. He originally bought Bitcoin for $0.08 per coin and sold them far too early! He is active in the local Vancouver Blockchain community. Andrew has worked on a design for a Blockchain based skill currency system and enjoys helping others understand Blockchain technologies. Andrew has been in software product development for 20 years and consults as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Scrum Master, Workshop Facilitator and Conference Speaker. He is currently with WorkSafeBC as an Agile Coach. Feel free to talk to him about anything Blockchain in the halls!
