Frameworks Used for Creating Change
Presented by: John Mansfield
Most BPR methodologies, frameworks and tools treat change management as a side dish, yet, in my opinion, it is the most important part of the meal. Change management is more than just creating a RACI or delivering a communication plan that identifies key stakeholders, influencers, etc. Most transformation efforts fail, not because of a bad methodology or tool, but because of the lack of attention to creating change.
This presentation will discuss some classic change management frameworks that I have used over the past 25+ years to create change. Throughout the presentation, I will provided stories on how I have used the frameworks, what has worked, and perhaps more importantly for the audience, what I learned from my shortfalls. Although change management is considered tacit knowledge, this presentation will provide awareness and a different perspective on how to create change.
Learning Objectives:
- The importance of change management
- Frameworks for creating change
- How change management frameworks can be used
- What it takes to be a change agent
