Business Outcomes → Customer Experiences → Processes
Presented by: Scott Whitmire
As business conditions evolve, so must the organization if it is to survive and thrive. Leading business change, whether evolution or transformation, involves answering three questions: What to change? What to change it to? and How to change it? Business architecture is uniquely suited to address all three. Tools and techniques developed over the years come together to provide a direct link between the initial vision for the business, through strategy and goals, to the operating model consisting of processes, people, and technology.
This workshop introduces tools and techniques for each of 10 steps to link strategy to technology through target customer segments, value propositions, customer experience, processes, and finally, the technology necessary to support it all. The workshop focuses on steps 4-7 which are critical to answer the three questions posed above. Each step provides instruction and practice to provide familiarity with the tools and how they fit together. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a new understanding of how the various parts of a business fit together to succeed, and of just how much work it takes to keep it that way.
