• How is your presentation relevant to the theme of this year’s BBC conference: Innovation in the Fast Lane?

My presentation ties to the theme this year because Pekin Insurance started a transformational journey to innovate the way we do business and technology. In this journey, we have reshaped the role of the business analyst to be more agile and better position our business partners to help them see the value in what we are delivering.

• What are your top tips for companies or employees wishing to innovate?

My tips to companies to innovate is to fail fast and continuously improve. Try something new and if it doesn’t work, try something different. However, keep the people in mind because change is hard and if you can bring them along through proper change management and communication then you will have a much smoother journey.
