• How is your presentation relevant to the theme of this year’s BBC conference: Innovation in the Fast Lane?

Innovation is a solution to a problem that the user (of the solution) only becomes aware of after the problem has been solved by that solution. Business analysis is a critical component here, building and leveraging it in services form helps to speed up and drive innovation at scale. “Shifting BA to Services” session explores how this can be implemented on practice.

• What are your top tips for companies or employees wishing to innovate?

Innovation requires a mindset shift and often a new culture: being open for changes, trying new options and alternatives over and over, and taking into account as much perspectives as possible on a problem or opportunity. Find spots to stop for a while, change focus to strategic view and new options, and try new ways until one of them works for you and your company—returning your investment of time and energy multiplied.
