• How is your presentation relevant to the theme of this year’s BBC conference: Innovation in the Fast Lane?

My presentation focuses on the role of Analytics within Business Analysis. Within the core of Business Analytics are the three V’s –
Volume, Velocity, and Variety. This means that businesses who want to harness the true power of Analytics need to appreciate that the pace at which data will enter your business will just simply get faster and faster, and that we need novel methods to be able to address the variety in forms of these data. At the same time businesses who will master Analytics will see true Innovation within their business, and business that don’t will be left behind.

• What are your top tips for companies or employees wishing to innovate?

Quite simple – develop a strategy for how to incorporate Analytics into your business processes and decision-making !!
